Chemical peels may cause mild redness with areas of flaking or peeling skin.
On rare occasions the peel can penetrate deeper into certain areas resulting in patchy dryness, scabby peeling, sore like burn areas- easily remedied by hydrocortisone, aloe hydrating calming mask, or a old compress.

Minor side effects may include, but are not limited to superficial crusting, edema and temporary bruising ,hypo-pigmentation, and hyper-pigmentation this is where my advice of using a Vitamin C serum comes into play.

Dry areas and peeling can occur on the 3rd day and peel duration of 2 to 3 days after treatment. However the stronger/aggressive peels can begin peeling the 2nd day and peel the duration of 5 to 7 days after treatment.
